Borussia Dortmund's Jurgen Klopp reveals injury concerns

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp gives an update on the fitness of Marco Reus ahead of tomorrow night's trip to 1860 Munich in the German Cup.

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he has a number of injury doubts heading into their third game in six days.

Klopp's side face 1860 Munich in the German Cup tomorrow night, but are likely to be without Marco Reus and Marcel Schmelzer after the pair went off injured in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Nuremberg in the Bundesliga.

Mats Hummels is also working his way back to full fitness, leaving Dortmund short of options, but Klopp is adamant that BVB will relish the challenge of overcoming the second-division side and maintaining their strong start to the 2013-14 campaign.

He told the club's official website: "It is no easy task because 1860 have a good team and are looking for promotion from the second division.

"Of course, we are favourites to progress. I am looking forward to the game, it´s a tough challenge but one we relish. He's (Reus) much better today, but still some way off from match-fit."

Dortmund rested a host of key players against Nuremberg including Robert Lewandowski and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, as Klopp looks to find the right balance to compete on three fronts.
