Barnsley have confirmed the signing of Republic of Ireland international Keith Treacy on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old has been searching for a new club since his release from Burnley earlier this summer, and his move provides a boost to Danny Wilson ahead of his side's League One campaign.
"I'm delighted," Treacy told Barnsley's official website. "The clock was ticking down to the start of the season.
"When I was talking to Danny Wilson he laid out where he wanted to take the club, and I was happy to come and be a part of that. Hopefully we will be able to get out of League One as soon as possible."
Treacy could make his debut for the club against Crawley Town on Saturday.
