Barcelona boss Luis Enrique confident ahead of Granada clash

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique backs his team to thrive under the pressure of facing Granada for the La Liga title this weekend.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has backed his team to "lap up" the pressure of playing for the La Liga title this weekend.

Entering week 38, Barcelona hold a one-point lead over second-placed Real Madrid and know that three points against Granada on Sunday would ensure that that they retain the title.

Any slip from Barcelona would open the door for Real Madrid to pounce, but Enrique is confident that his side can deal with the pressure on the final weekend of the season.

"It's an important game, without any doubt any game in which you are playing for the title is," Enrique told reporters.

"It is going to be a difficult game because of the tension of it being the last day and us still being in contention for the title. But otherwise, it's going to be the same as any other game.

"We are different to other teams. These players have won so many things and are used to all kinds of situations. We lap up this kind of pressure. These games are made-to-measure for Barca players. I look at how well we've played all season long and, knowing that this league is probably the most difficult in Europe, we demand a lot of ourselves."

Barcelona need to better Real Madrid's result away to Deportivo La Coruna to win a 24th La Liga title.
