A report claims that Barcelona will test their players for signs of coronavirus when they arrive in Italy for Tuesday's Champions League tie Napoli.

Barcelona's players will reportedly be tested for signs of coronavirus ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Napoli.

All four Serie A matches scheduled to take place on Sunday were called off after Italy was hit was a severe outbreak of the disease, which has claimed the lives of around 2,500 people.

Barca are due to head to Naples on Monday and, according to ESPN, their first-team stars will have their temperatures checked on arrival.

The report indicates that anyone showing signs of illness with be taken straight to hospital, with the Catalan giants unwilling to take any risks.

Barcelona enter the last-16 first leg with Napoli on the back of a Lionel Messi-inspired 5-0 win over Eibar on Saturday.
