Nino goal enough for Osasuna to see off Barcelona B

Osasuna close in on a Segunda Division playoff place by beating a struggling Barcelona B side 1-0 at the Mini Estadi.

Barcelona B remain in trouble at the bottom of the Segunda Division having been edged out 1-0 by Osasuna this evening.

The Catalan club, who came into this game sitting just one point clear of danger, were downed by a first-half strike from Nino at the Mini Estadi.

Miguel de las Cuevas was shown a second yellow card with 20 minutes still to play, although Osasuna were able to see out the contest and pick up three valuable points.

Jan Urban's men are now within touching distance of a playoff place, as they look to return to Spain's top flight just one season after being relegated.
