Team News: Angel di Maria named on bench for Monaco visit

Angel di Maria could make his Paris Saint-Germain debut after being named on the bench for the Ligue 1 visit to AS Monaco.

Angel di Maria has been named on the bench for Paris Saint-Germain in tonight's Ligue 1 visit to AS Monaco as his eagerly-anticipated debut awaits.

The Argentine winger could make his bow at Stade Louis II following a £44m move from Manchester United earlier this month.

Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic also returns to the starting lineup for his first game of the campaign after picking up an injury in pre-season.

Laurent Blanc makes two changes in total from the 1-0 win at Montpellier last week, which saw the reigning champions maintain their 100% record from three games.

Javier Pastore makes way for Marco Verratti in midfield, while Ibrahimovic displaces Ezequiel Lavezzi as Les Parisiens chase a fourth successive win.

Fresh from their Champions League exit to Valencia on Tuesday, Leonardo Jardim makes four changes from that lineup.

Elderson, Thomas Lemar, Adama Traore and Stephan El Shaarawy all come into the side. Playmaker Joao Moutinho, who has been linked with a switch to Zenit St Petersburg, is left out completely.

AS Monaco: Subasic; Fabinho, Raggi, Carvalho, Elderson; Toulalan, Lemar, Traore, Silva; El Shaarawy, Martial
Subs: Carrillo, Cavaleiro, Pasalic, Wallace, Bakayoko, Nardi, Toure

Paris Saint-Germain: Trapp; Aurier, Silva, Luiz, Maxwell; Motta, Verratti, Matuidi; Lucas, Cavani, Ibrahimovic
Subs: Di Maria, Lavezzi, Marquinhos, Stambouli, Van der Wiel, Rabiot, Sirigu
