A report claims that Unai Emery is under pressure to offload more players before the end of the European transfer window as concerns are growing over finances.

Unai Emery has reportedly been informed by Arsenal chiefs that he must focus on cutting the club's wage bill during the remainder of the transfer window.

The Gunners have two weeks to ship out unwanted players from their bloated squad, either on permanent deals to foreign clubs or on loan to teams outside of the Premier League.

After splashing out £70m on five new players over the summer, the Daily Mail claims that finances for the season ahead have become a concern.

Arsenal have already managed to shift around £14m off their annual wage bill through offloading Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla and Lucas Perez, but the report suggests that more needs to be done as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan pick up close to £200,000 a week, while Mesut Ozil is on around £300,000.

Mohamed Elneny appears to be the next player on his way out of the Emirates Stadium, with Marseille keen on striking a deal, while Carl Jenkinson, David Ospina and Joel Campbell have been told that they can move on.
