Wales skipper Sam Warburton will miss this afternoon's Six Nations encounter with Scotland because of a dead leg.

Wales captain Sam Warburton has been ruled out of his side's Six Nations fixture against Scotland this afternoon.

The 23-year-old will miss the match in Cardiff because of a dead leg that he picked up during last weekend's win over Ireland.

Coach Warren Gatland had originally included Warburton in his starting lineup for today's match. However, he has failed to recover in time for the visit of Scotland.

Warburton's absence has seen Scarlets back-row Aaron Shingler handed his debut for the Dragons.
