Sam Warburton confirms that he will consult a specialist in an attempt to combat his shoulder injury.

Wales captain Sam Warburton has confirmed that he will visit a shoulder specialist in an attempt to overcome his injury issues.

The injury forced Warburton off the field at half time during the victory over France that secured the Grand Slam.

Warburton had undergone two scans but the results were reported to have been inconclusive and the Cardiff Blues player has now been forced to consult a specialist.

The flanker told the Daily Telegraph: "I'm going to see a specialist in London to hopefully get it sorted.

"They don't know if it's maybe a more complicated, underlying factor, which could be a number of things.

"It could be something to do with nerves, which don't show up on MRI scans."

Warburton is now a doubt for the three-Test tour of Australia in June.
