Wales this morning confirmed that scrum-half Rhys Webb is out of the Rugby World Cup with a foot injury.
Both Webb and full-back Leigh Halfpenny suffered injuries in Wales's final World Cup warm-up against Italy on Saturday.
Halfpenny was ruled out yesterday with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament and now the Welsh Rugby Union has also confirmed Webb's absence.
The duo's places in the squad for the upcoming tournament in England have been taken by Mike Phillips and Eli Walker.
Wales start their Rugby World Cup campaign against Uruguay on September 20 in Cardiff.
