Saracens head coach Mark McCall is pleased with the competition for places in his squad ahead of Sunday's Aviva Premiership encounter with Harlequins.

Saracens head coach Mark McCall has praised the depth of his squad ahead of Sunday's Aviva Premiership showdown with Harlequins.

Both sides welcome back a number of international players for the match at the Allianz Park following the conclusion of the Six Nations last weekend.

Despite having to play a number of games without key members of his team in recent weeks, McCall believes that it has ultimately had a positive effect.

"We welcomed back the international players to the squad this week after international duty and there is a real buzz around the club," McCall is quoted as saying by Orange.co.uk.

"The depth of the squad has been tested in the past few months and we have come through that well, giving us competition for places across the pitch. That is exactly what we want."

League leaders Saracens will start the match four points ahead of second-placed Harlequins.
