The home side took an early lead when Worcester failed to block Dwayne Peel down the wing with just 11 minutes gone.

Paul Warwick added three points from a penalty for the visitors, but was stretchered off before full time after receiving treatment on the pitch for over 10 minutes.

Jonathan Mills increased the home side's lead at the start of the second half, before Sam Tuitupou sealed the victory.

The result leaves Sale top of Pool One, while Worcester remain bottom.
