Northampton Saints defeated London Wasps at Adams Park to pick up their fourth win of the season in the Aviva Premiership.
It was the hosts who scored the only try of the first half through Ricki Flutey, cancelling out Ryan Lamb's early penalty before further penalties from both sides meant the Saints took a four-point lead into the second half.
The Saints registered their first try just a minute into the second period when Soane Tonga'uiha went over, before a second was added through Brian Mujati ten minutes later to extend the lead to 16 points.
Ross Filipo did register a late try for Wasps but it was merely consolation for Paul Turner's side.
Both teams have now won four and lost four in this year's Premiership.
