Danny Care has revealed that he will "hugely" miss not playing in the Six Nations following interim England coach Stuart Lancaster's dismissal of the scrum-half.
The Harlequins player was dropped from the England side due to racking up two drink-related offences in three weeks.
"I will miss it hugely," Care said. "It is now up to me to get my head down, keep playing well and learn from my actions. I have decided not to contest the drink‑driving charge as I want to bring this to a close quickly and not have it hanging over my head."
Lancaster claimed that he had no choice but to exclude the 25-year-old following his "unacceptable" behaviour.
