Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Paul Lambert has reportedly decided not to return with a fresh bid for Coventry City defender Ryan Haynes.
A previous report had suggested that Wolves had been turned down with two bids for the 21-year-old, who has only just forced his way back into the City squad.
According to The Mirror, Wolves have now decided not to return with a third offer after being put off by the Sky Blues' £450,000 valuation.
Yesterday the Midlands outfit broke the club and Championship transfer record with the £13m permanent signing of winger Helder Costa.
Lambert is also working on a deal for Blackburn Rovers full-back Ben Marshall, who is out of contract this summer, but has refused to meet the club's £2m asking price.
