Championship trio looking to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers skipper Danny Batth?

Three clubs in the Championship are reportedly interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers centre-back Danny Batth.

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Danny Batth is reportedly attracting attention from three clubs in the Championship.

After progressing through the academy, Batth has made 191 appearances in all competitions at Molineux, but his future is currently in doubt after new head coach Nuno Espirito Santo brought in a number of new centre-backs.

According to the Daily Mail, Aston Villa, Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday are all keeping tabs on the 26-year-old's situation at Wolves.

All three outfits would likely deem Batth as a first-team regular as they look to mount a challenge to earn promotion to the Premier League.

Batth is unlikely to start in Wolves' opening league match with Middlesbrough this weekend, and his future may depend on how Wolves fare during the first few weeks of the season.

The centre-back still has four years remaining on his contract at Wolves.
