Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Jamie O'Hara reveals his disappointment following the sacking of Mick McCarthy.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Jamie O'Hara has spoken of his disappointment at Mick McCarthy's sacking as the club's manager.

McCarthy was relieved of his duties following yesterday's 5-1 defeat at home to West Bromwich Albion - their 14th loss of the season.

O'Hara has paid tribute to the departing boss, while also admitting that the players must shoulder some of the blame for the club's current position.

"Gutted to see mick go," O'Hara wrote on Twitter. "Done an amazing job here and evryone should be thankful for what he's done, thank him so much for giving me the chance to play football every week

"Just sorry we cudnt of done better for him, fantastic manager and man and wish him all the best."

Steve Bruce is currently the favourite to replace McCarthy at Molineux.
