Defender Ruben Vinagre has said that scoring for Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend was "a dream come true".
Since linking up with Wolves on a loan deal from Monaco, Vinagre has emerged as a key part of the team on the left flank, making eight appearances in all competitions.
Vinagre added his first professional goal to his record in the 4-0 win over Burton Albion, and the Portuguese youngster has admitted that he is enjoying his time at Molineux.
The teenager told O Jogo: "Honestly, as soon as I scored I couldn't believe it. It was a dream come true and I still can't believe it's real, it seems I'm still dreaming.
"Having several Portuguese players in the squad has been a help. This squad is top – not only the Portuguese players. We have a really good squad. I've been here for three months and I've already learned a lot from Nuno.
"The second tier in England is a very competitive league, there are no easy games and there's always a great atmosphere in the stadiums. I'm really enjoying playing here."
Before linking up with Wolves, Vinagre signed a five-year contract with the Ligue 1 giants.
