Robbie Haemhouts goal seals win for Willem II

Robbie Haemhouts's late goal is enough for Willem II as they edge out FC Utrecht 1-0 at home.

Robbie Haemhouts's late goal was enough for Willem II as they edged out FC Utrecht 1-0 at home this evening.

Haemhouts wasted a good chance early on when he was denied by goalkeeper Robbin Ruiter after going through on goal.

The visitors struggled to threaten Willem's goal in the first period, and Timo Letschert's long-range effort was saved by Kostas Lamprou in what was arguably their best opening.

Tommy Oar had a better chance for Utrecht in the second period but Lamprou was alert to snuff out the danger and with 10 minutes remaining Haemhouts grabbed the winner.

Haemhouts collected Terell Ondaan's pass before rifling an effort low into the bottom corner.
