West Ham United are reportedly set to make a move for Brentford striker Ollie Watkins with the Premier League side hoping to bring the Englishman to the London Stadium this summer.
The 24-year-old has helped the Championship side in their hopes of gaining promotion this campaign, scoring 22 goals in 37 appearances for The Bees.
According to The Sun, the Hammers were interested in securing a deal with the former Exeter player during the January transfer window.
However, Brentford refused to let go of one of their prized assets mid-season with promotion to the Premier League still firmly on the cards.
David Moyes's side are therefore hoping to reopen negotiations with the forward if the West London team are unable to gain a place in England's top tier.
West Ham currently sit 16th in the Premier League table with goal difference the only factor between them and the danger zone.
