West Ham United midfielder Alou Diarra has insisted that he will stay and fight for his place.
The 32-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Rennes after criticising the club, but is now prepared to stay and earn his place in the Sam Allardyce's team.
"I want to fight this season with West Ham," Diarra told the club's official website.
"I'll give 100% in training and I'll wait for my chance. I'll give my best for West Ham and we'll see. I'm ready to play in the Premier League now.
"Pre-season has gone well. We work hard everyday, and we've only lost one game so it has been a good start for us."
Diarra scored as West Ham beat Hamburg 3-1 on Tuesday.
