Morgan Amalfitano has signed a two-year contract extension with West Ham United after joining the club on a one-year deal in the summer.
The Frenchman was a deadline-day signing from Marseille, and has made 22 appearances for the club so far this season, scoring three goals.
He told West Ham TV: "I am pleased. It's the culmination of a good year. We're always trying to do our best and so I'm very pleased to have signed for two more years.
"I think I've impressed the management, I know that I can always do better and I hope to do so. I'll give it my all as I have done in the first eight months."
Amalfitano has not played for the team since being sent off in their FA Cup defeat to West Bromwich Albion last month.
