West Ham United have confirmed that James Tomkins has suffered a dislocated shoulder.
Reports emerged overnight claiming that the injury occurred during a training session, and there are concerns that he could miss the rest of the season.
Today, the Hammers announced via their official Twitter page: "West Ham United can confirm that James Tomkins has suffered a dislocated shoulder. The 25-year-old was taken for hospital treatment and will continued to be assessed by the club's medical staff."
West Ham will take on Arsenal at the Emirates tomorrow.
