West Ham United are reportedly taking extra care when it comes to bringing Javier Hernandez back into the team.
The former Manchester United forward, who moved to the London Stadium in the summer, has been on the sidelines since featuring in the Hammers' 4-1 defeat to Liverpool.
The 29-year-old suffered an injury while on international duty with Mexico, and even though he has returned to first-team training, the Daily Mail reports that the club may not risk him against Chelsea, but will aim to bring the striker back for the upcoming Arsenal clash.
Meanwhile, Andy Carroll remains out of action and may not return until December 23 when David Moyes's side face Newcastle United.
Hernandez has scored four goals in 11 Premier League appearances.
