Report: West Bromwich Albion want Alberto Bueno

A report claims that West Bromwich Albion want to sign Rayo Vallecano forward Alberto Bueno.

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly preparing a January move for Rayo Vallecano forward Alberto Bueno, who has impressed in the early stages of the new season.

The 26-year-old has netted four times in as many games for Rayo this season, with his performances drawing a host of interest from across Europe.

Rayo are keen to keep the Spaniard in the Spanish capital, but his current deal expires next summer, leaving him free to discuss terms with interested parties in January.

According to Inside Spanish Football, West Brom boss Alan Irvine is a keen admirer of the striker, who has previously had a loan spell with Derby County.

Bueno scored 11 times for Rayo last season.
