Herve Renard in frame for West Bromwich Albion job?

Former Sochaux manager Herve Renard is amongst the candidates for the vacant head coach position at West Bromwich Albion, according to a report.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly identified former Sochaux manager Herve Renard as a candidate for their head coach vacancy.

The Baggies have been without a manager since the departure of Pepe Mel last week.

Renard announced on Sunday that he will be leaving Sochaux after failing to save them from relegation to Ligue 2.

According to L'Equipe, West Brom are courting the services of the former Zambia coach.

Renard has previous experience of English football, having managed Cambridge United for a brief spell back in 2004.
