West Bromwich Albion striker Shane Long brands Baggies teammate Ben Foster "one of the best keepers in England".

West Bromwich Albion striker Shane Long believes that Baggies teammate Ben Foster is good enough to play for England.

Foster retired from international duty 18 months ago after failing to secure a regular spot in the team, but there have been calls for the stopper to come out of international retirement.

"Ben is a brilliant keeper. He is one of the best keepers in England and it is big loss to England not to have him in the ranks," Long told reporters.

Foster joined West Brom from Birmingham City in the summer.
