Half-Time Report: West Bromwich Albion 0-0 Reading

Jonas Olsson hits the post during a subdued first half between West Bromwich Albion and Reading at The Hawthorns.

West Bromwich Albion have looked the more likely side to break the deadlock during a subdued opening 45 minutes against Reading at The Hawthorns.

James Morrison had the game's first shot in anger when he fired at goal from long range, but Alex McCarthy made a decent save down low.

Morrison then smashed wide from 10 yards, after being put through by Zoltan Gera.

Jonas Olsson has rattled the post with a header from a corner, while Adam Le Fondre and Danny Guthrie have both unsuccessfully tried their luck from distance for the visitors.
