Watford defender Younes Kaboul has claimed that he and his teammates need to take inspiration from Leicester City's shock Premier League title win as they aim for a top-10 finish.
Walter Mazzarri's side moved into the top half of the league table with a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough on Sunday.
The Hornets have suffered defeat once in their last five league games and currently sit just two points behind seventh-placed Manchester United after eight games.
In Watford's first season back in the top flight, the club finished the 2015-16 campaign 13th in the standings.
"Yes [we can finish higher] because we have got quality in the group," Sky Sports News quotes Kaboul as saying. "Leicester proved last season anything can win the Premier League - I'm not talking about this, of course, but that shows you the mentality now of other teams.
"When I say other teams, it's the other teams out of the top four, five, maybe even six now. For the rest of the teams, anyone can surprise anyone. That's the Premier League."
Watford's next game will be against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
