Watford midfielder Ikechi Anya has said that his side are lacking the "clinical edge" that served them well at the start of the season.
The Hornets wasted a number of chances during their 2-0 setback at Liverpool on Sunday afternoon to fall to their sixth defeat in their last 10 Premier League fixtures, and the Scottish international admits that he was disappointed with the outcome to the fixture on Merseyside.
The 28-year-old told Hornets Player: "We're disappointed. I feel like we did enough to score a couple of goals, especially in the first half, and I think we can look at that with disappointment.
"We conceded two goals through mistakes, I was culpable for the second one and for the first one we all turned off, but I think on another day we could've gone into half time ahead.
"I feel like we're just missing that clinical edge that we had at the start of the season."
Watford sit in 13th position in the standings ahead of the final week of the campaign.
