Valencia boss Nuno prepared for second leg

Valencia boss Nuno insists that his team will not rest on their laurels as they prepare for Tuesday's Champions League playoff second leg against Monaco.

Valencia boss Nuno has insisted that his team will not rest on their 3-1 lead against Monaco in the second leg of their Champions League playoff.

Los Che will enter the return match in France on Tuesday with a two-goal advantage, but Nuno has said that the contest is far from over.

"The best exercise you can do in a game like this is to think about being on the other side and what we would do if we were 3-1 against," Nuno is quoted as saying by AS.

"From there you know what you have to do so it is important to think we can and should go out and win the game. They have to find a goal and are more desperate than us to do so but we have to be organised to do well in attack and recovering the ball."

Valencia, who finished fourth in La Liga last season, have had a two-season absence from the Champions League.
