Since winning her first game as Tottenham's interim boss, Vicky Jepson has overseen two defeats and one draw.

After losing consecutive games to Arsenal and Everton, Spurs were looking to return to winning ways when they faced Aston Villa last weekend.

Tottenham came from two goals down to take a 3-2 lead against the Villans thanks to an Eveliina Summanen brace and Bethany England strike, but they were unable to see out the win, as Rachel Daly scored her second goal of the game in the 84th-minute to ensure that the contest ended in a 3-3 draw.

Having won just one of their last 13 league games, Tottenham are just three points clear of basement side Leicester City, who have a game in hand over the North London club.

Despite struggling to find their best form, Spurs may be looking forward to Saturday's home meeting after thrashing Brighton 8-0 when the two sides met in October.

Melissa Phillips has experienced a mixed start to her tenure as Brighton manager, overseeing one win and two defeats.

After losing her first game in charge to Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-finals, Phillips guided her side to a 3-2 home win over Everton.

The Seagulls were hoping to claim consecutive victories when they took the lead against Liverpool last weekend thanks to Elisabeth Terland's opener, but two second-half strikes from Ceri Holland condemned Brighton to a narrow 2-1 defeat.

With five games left to play in the 2022-23 campaign, the Seagulls are just two points clear of the one and only relegation place.

Brighton will have the chance to leapfrog their hosts if they can claim all three points on Saturday, but having won just one of their nine away league games this season, picking up a victory against Tottenham will be easier said than done.

Team News

Tottenham are still without the services of Ramona Petzelberger, Ellie Brazil, Shelina Zadorsky and Kyah Simon due to injury issues.

Rosella Ayane dropped down to the bench for the 3-3 draw with Aston Villa, but the Morocco international could return to the starting lineup on Saturday.

Since joining the club in January, England has scored six goals in eight appearances, and she will be looking to continue her fine form when she leads the line against Brighton.

As for the visitors, they have reported no fresh injury concerns ahead of the trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Despite losing to Liverpool last time out, Phillips could be tempted to select the same starting XI for a third straight game.

After scoring three goals in Brighton's last three games, Terland will attempt to score in a fourth successive match.

Tottenham Hotspur Ladies possible starting lineup:
Spencer; Neville, Turner, Bartrip, Harrop; Bizet, James, Spence, Ayane; England, Summanen

Brighton & Hove Albion Women possible starting lineup:
L. Williams; Fox, Morse, Kullberg, Pattinson; Connolly, Bance; Robinson, Lee, Sarri; Terland

We say: Tottenham Hotspur Ladies 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion Women

Both sides have found wins hard to come by in recent times, and with the two sides separated by just one point, we think that a cagey contest will finish all square.
