Swansea City have confirmed that midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo has returned to Spain to sign for Rayo Vallecano after a season at the Liberty Stadium.
Pozuelo, who scored twice in 36 appearances in all competitions for the Swans, moves to his new club for an undisclosed fee.
"Swansea City can confirm that Alejandro Pozuelo has joined Rayo Vallecano for an undisclosed fee," the club confirmed in a statement.
"The Spanish midfielder returns to his home country after just one season at the Liberty Stadium. His last appearance for the Swans came back in February in the Europa League last 32 defeat to Napoli."
Pozuelo originally joined Swansea from Real Betis on a three-year deal.
