Swansea City manager Garry Monk has insisted that the club will do all that they can to keep hold of Wilfried Bony this summer.
The 25-year-old striker is said to have attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund after scoring 15 Premier League goals for the Swans.
However, Monk expects the Ivory Coast international to honour the remaining three years on his contract at the Liberty Stadium.
"We need to hang on to him and he is happy here," the South Wales Evening Post quotes Bony as saying. "You never know what can happen — players will always get linked with other clubs, but Swansea do not have to be a selling club.
"We are in a powerful position, these boys are under contract and it is the club that will make the final decision on their futures."
Bony joined the Welsh outfit last year for a club-record fee of £12m from Vitesse.
