Swansea City's Spanish striker Michu could make a shock exit from the club after reportedly catching the eye of Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala.
The 27-year-old, who has been a hit in South Wales since joining the club at the start of last season, is likely to be offered a big pay package by the Dagestan side, after they dropped to the bottom of the Russian League.
And, according to the Sunday People, Anzhi's wealthy benefactor Suleyman Kerimov has realised that he made a mistake in letting go of some of his most experienced players such as Samuel Eto'o and is keen to add firepower to his faltering squad.
It is thought that such a move might appeal to Michu and Swansea, who may not have another chance to cash in on the forward and Garry Monk is said to have enough strikers in his ranks to cope with the loss of the ex-Rayo Vallecano man, with the Russian transfer window closes on Monday evening.
Michu is yet to play in 2014 for the Swans after suffering an ankle injury.
