Michael Laudrup: "Michu could miss a couple of games"

Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup says that Michu could miss the next couple of games following an injury picked up during his side's loss to Cardiff City.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has said that striker Michu could miss a few games through injury, as the Spaniard was taken off halfway through his side's 1-0 loss to Cardiff City this afternoon.

Cardiff grabbed three points in the highly anticipated Welsh derby as Steven Caulker scored the only goal of the game in the second half.

"Michu is not 100% right now," said Laudrup, according to Four Four Two.

"He is struggling with some physical problems and, on top of that, he had to leave pitch with another twisted ankle so probably he will be out for a couple of games."

Following the defeat, Swansea find themselves in 13th position in the Premier League table.
