Sunderland midfielder Stephane Sessegnon has revealed that he is happy to stay at the club amid speculation surrounding his future.
The Benin international's playing days at the Stadium of Light have been in doubt over the past two summers as a result of his impressive career with the Black Cats so far.
However, the former Paris Saint-Germain player has insisted that he is more than content with life under manager Paolo Di Canio.
"The speculation is okay, I have no problem with that," Sessegnon told the Shields Gazette. "But I'm happy at Sunderland.
"We've worked very well in pre-season, and hopefully we can continue like this.
"I'm enjoying it at Sunderland, and my mind is for Sunderland now."
Sessegnon signed a new deal with Sunderland last August.
