Wolverhampton Wanderers are believed to be willing to offer an escape route for Stoke City frontman Kenwyne Jones.
The 27-year-old, who has fallen out of favour at the Britannia Stadium, is thought to be of interest to Wolves boss Mick McCarthy.
The Premier League side are prepared to pay up to £5m for the former Sunderland forward in order to ease the pressure off Wolves striker Steven Fletcher, according to the Daily Star.
It is understood that despite Tony Pulis's initial refusal to sell Jones, the Potters boss has considered Nigerian forward Michael Uchebo as a replacement.
