Stoke City considering reunion with Tony Pulis?

Stoke City are reportedly considering an approach for former boss Tony Pulis as the club continue to assess the future of current manager Mark Hughes.

Stoke City are reportedly weighing up the possibility of appointing Tony Pulis as manager of the Potters for a third time.

Despite claims that Mark Hughes will be in charge of Stoke for Saturday's Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion, the Welshman's future remains up in the air after five defeats from six matches in the top flight.

Hughes has been in charge since replacing Pulis in 2013 but according to The Sun, the club's hierarchy are considering appointing Pulis as their boss for the third time.

In two spells at the Staffordshire-based outfit, Pulis has recorded 169 wins and 130 draws from 464 matches, with his first spell coming between 2002 and 2005, and his second period between 2006 and 2013 as he secured promotion to the Premier League.

Pulis has been out of work for just a month after being sacked by West Brom in November, but the 59-year-old has since been linked with Swansea City, Rangers and Wales.
