Stoke striker Kenwyne Jones believes that his side's never-say-die attitude has been a key reason behind their recent good form.

Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones has put the side's recent good form down to pride, desire and their never-say-die attitude.

Stoke have not lost in the Premier League for 10 matches, while their home unbeaten streak stretches all the way back to February 4.

Their next match comes away to Manchester City, but Jones believes that they will put up a good fight against the champions, as their 3-3 draw with Southampton showed.

"We are doing well. We had a few slip-ups but credit to the team, the manager and the fans for the run we have been on," said Jones.

"The next game is the most important game for us because we're going to the home of the champions. Here at Stoke City we play for 90 minutes. If we get beat, we get beat, but we'll never give up. That comes from pride.

"This is our job. No-one wants to lose so you're not just going to stand there and accept defeat."

Stoke's run leaves them eighth in the Premier League table, four points off fifth-placed Arsenal.
