It is a Tayside derby at Tannadice on Saturday afternoon, when Dundee United entertain St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.

Micky Mellon's United side are in sixth place in the league table, seven points ahead of the Perth Saints, who sit in ninth.

We say: Dundee United 2-1 St Johnstone

We think that Micky Mellon's team will end their three-game winless streak with a solid win against the Perth Saints on Saturday.

St Johnstone have struggled to win games in recent weeks and we anticipate that that trend will continue with another defeat on Saturday.

Three points against struggling Hamilton could see Killie leapfrog St Mirren into seventh place in the Scottish Premiership.

We say: Kilmarnock 0-1 Hamilton Academical

Kilmarnock's return to form bodes well for Dyer's long-term ambitions, but we think the Hamilton Accies have both the guile and cunning to grind out a much-needed win at Rugby Park.

St Mirren vs. Motherwell (Saturday, 3.00pm)

St Mirren, whose recent good form has seen them rise from bottom to seventh in the Scottish Premiership table, welcome Motherwell to the SMISA Stadium on Saturday for what should be an interesting league encounter.

The Steelmen head into the weekend's game after a poor run of results that has seen them slip to 11th in the table and their manager Stephen Robinson resign. Interim manager Keith Lasley will take charge of the team on Saturday.

We say: St Mirren 2-0 Motherwell

We think that St Mirren will continue their rise up the Scottish Premiership table with a solid win against the team from Lanarkshire on Saturday.

A 2-0 win looks likely, given that 'Well are in some disarray with an interim manager and a key player in the shape of Gallagher looking like he wants out of the club.
