Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly conceded defeat in signing Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma.
The 23-year-old was a transfer target for Antonio's Conte side, who have already made six signings in the current transfer window.
Spurs recently saw a loan offer for Zaniolo rejected by Roma, with the Italian side previously asking for at least €50m (£42.3m) to sell the Italy international.
However, according to the Evening Standard, Roma have changed their stance and are not keen on selling Zaniolo this summer.
Although he has just two years remaining on his contract, the Serie A club appear to be set on keeping the midfielder for the upcoming season.
Zaniolo - who scored in Roma's 5-0 friendly victory over Shakhtar Donetsk last time out - could feature in Roma's opening league game against Salernitana on Sunday.
