Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly be forced to settle for loan exits for Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Winks, Sergio Reguilon and Giovani Lo Celso this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly be forced to accept loan exits for four unwanted players in the summer transfer window.

Antonio Conte's side are now expected to focus on trimming their squad down after welcoming no fewer than six new faces to Hotspur Way in the current transfer window.

Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Richarlison, Djed Spence and Yves Bissouma have all arrived on permanent deals, while Clement Lenglet has joined on a season-long loan from Barcelona.

Tottenham will seemingly complete their summer incomings with the acquisition of Destiny Udogie from Udinese, who will remain on loan in Italy for the 2022-23 season.

Meanwhile, Steven Bergwijn, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Jack Clarke and Kion Etete have all left permanently, while Joe Rodon, Troy Parrott, Alfie Whiteman and Dane Scarlett are all on loan elsewhere.

Conte will now aim to shift more unwanted players, but according to The Sun, Tottenham are struggling to find buyers for as many as four unwanted players.

Lyon ultimately passed up on their opportunity to re-sign Tanguy Ndombele permanently at the end of his loan spell, and the Frenchman is not in Conte's plans moving forward.

Ndombele still has three years left to run on his deal at Tottenham but was not in the squad for their opening Premier League win over Southampton at the weekend.

Villarreal are thought to have been in discussions over moves for Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso, who enjoyed an impressive loan spell at La Ceramica last term.

The Argentina international helped the Yellow Submarine reach the semi-finals of the Champions League last season and would be welcomed back with open arms by Unai Emery.

However, Villarreal would likely have to sell players before they could buy this summer, which could see their move for Lo Celso hijacked by Fiorentina.

Another Spurs player being tipped to return to Spain is Sergio Reguilon, who finds himself behind Perisic and Ryan Sessegnon in the left-wing back ranks in North London.

Barcelona have been credited with an interest in the former Sevilla man but are not expected to intensify their pursuit as they edge closer to a move for Chelsea's Marcos Alonso.

Finally, midfielder Harry Winks was also nowhere to be seen on the opening weekend against Southampton and made a mere nine Premier League starts in the 2021-22 season.

The 26-year-old now has just two years left to run on his contract with the Lilywhites, but his hefty wages could supposedly scupper a summer exit.
