Report: Tottenham Hotspur watch defender Bruno Martins Indi

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas wants to bring in versatile Feyenoord defender Bruno Martins Indi next season, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly sent scouts to keep tabs on Feyenoord defender Bruno Martins Indi with a view to a summer transfer.

The Dutch international, who was born in Portugal, is a left-back by trade but is also capable of playing in a central role.

Spurs are expected to allow current Sunderland loanee Danny Rose to join up with the Black Cats permanently next season and Andre Villas-Boas is looking to fill the void with a competitor for Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

According to the Daily Mail, the Lillywhites boss is considering a bid for the versatile 21-year-old, who is valued at around £5.5m.

The White Hart Lane outfit have also been linked with a move for Sochaux full-back Sebastien Corchia.
