Report: Tottenham Hotspur increase Jay Rodriguez bid

A report claims that Tottenham Hotspur have increased their offer for Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly increased their offer for Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez.

It is understood that Spurs have already failed with a £14m plus Andros Townsend offer for the England international, who starred under Mauricio Pochettino last season.

However, according to The Independent, the London club have now raised their initial offer and are confident of securing a deal before the transfer window closes this evening.

Townsend could still reportedly be included in the deal.
