Inter Milan have reportedly moved a step closer to securing a deal for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho.
The Brazilian has been used sparingly by Mauricio Pochettino this season, with the Argentine often choosing to only use him in the Europa League.
According to The Mirror, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has flown to London to hold talks with Spurs.
The report claims that Inter will look to agree a loan deal in January, but will put a £12m option in place to sign the 26-year-old permanently in the summer.
Paulinho moved to White Hart Lane from Corinthians in July 2013 while former head coach Andre Villas-Boas was still at the club.
