Report: Emmanuel Adebayor wanted by Monaco

AS Monaco are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor, according to a report.

AS Monaco are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

The 30-year-old scored 18 league goals for the French club before joining Arsenal in 2006.

According to The Mirror, Monaco are looking to sign a replacement for Radamel Falcao, who has endured an injury-hit debut season at the Stade Louis II.

Adebayor has two years remaining on his current contract at Spurs, but following the dismissal of manager Tim Sherwood, his future is unclear.
