Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Sampdoria attacker Mikkel Damsgaard this summer.
The 21-year-old impressed for Denmark at Euro 2020, scoring twice and providing one assist in five appearances, as his national team reached the semi-finals of the competition.
Damsgaard, who netted a long-range free kick against England this summer, still has three years left to run on his contract at Sampdoria, having only arrived from Nordsjaelland in September 2020.
The attacker made 35 Serie A appearances during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring twice and providing four assists for his Italian club.
According to La Repubblica, Marcelo Bielsa's side are one of a number of clubs keen on signing the youngster during this summer's transfer window.
The report claims that the Whites are 'trying to get him to England', but Sampdoria are unlikely to sanction a sale unless they relieve an offer in excess of €30m (£25.6m).
Damsgaard has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus and Real Madrid.
