Thierry Henry looking to bring Mousa Dembele to Monaco?

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele, who will become a free agent next summer, is reportedly wanted by Ligue 1 strugglers Monaco.

Monaco manager Thierry Henry is interested in signing Mousa Dembele from Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report.

The 31-year-old will be out of contract with the North London outfit in six months' time and is free to discuss a move with foreign clubs from January.

Dembele, currently nursing an ankle injury that will keep him out until early 2019, finds himself behind the likes of Harry Winks and Eric Dier for a starting spot and appears certain to move on in the summer.

LeSport 10 claims that Monaco could provide the Belgium international with a final big payday, with Arsenal legend Henry keen to add to his squad.

However, that may be dependent on what division the principality club are competing in come next June, as they are currently four points adrift of safety at the bottom of Ligue 1.

Serie A duo Juventus and Inter Milan may also make a move for Dembele when he becomes a free agent.
