The Football Association has charged both West Bromwich Albion and Tottenham Hotspur for "failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion" during Saturday's Premier League match at The Hawthorns.
The charge relates to an incident in the 84th minute of the game when players from both teams confronted referee Jonathan Moss after Baggies winger James McClean was shown a yellow card for a tackle on Moussa Dembele.
Both clubs have until 6pm on Friday to respond to the charge.
The match finished 1-1 to extend Spurs' unbeaten league run to 14 games since they were beaten 1-0 at Manchester United on the opening day of the season.
